So we’ve spent so much time developing and making the coolest knife materials that embarrassingly we don’t really know how to make knives. So I camped out one night over at Strider’s shop in CA and ground my heart away (sometimes to the faint sound of laughter in the background – not sure what that was all about!).
After assessing my skill set, Duane thought it best for me not to start out on SM-100, so I tackled CPM 3V instead.
Although I’ll probably never be a great knifemaker, it was a memory that I’ll never forget and really gave me invaluable insight into just what you all do on a daily basis.
