We had a knife maker ask us to run this test with 3.5% salt water against S30V, and we added a few materials while we were at it. This is after 1-month in the solution – the stainless steels don’t appear to be too stainless. CP Ti and 304 certainly resist corrosion – but won’t hold an edge. That leaves SM-100 as the clear cut winner of this round.

Brian shared this video of him milling out stop pin slots in some SM-100 folder blanks. I think they are slated for G4 – wish I was going.
